Del-Boy is a 2 year and 6 month old, young and playful lad who loves meeting new people. He can be quite excitable and bouncy when he first says hello, so he’s looking for adopters who are comfortable with a large, enthusiastic dog and happy to help him learn polite greetings. Del-Boy has a medium energy level and really enjoys playing with his toys and his walks, though he can be strong on the lead. As he hasn’t seen much of the world yet, he can be reactive to traffic and would benefit from living in a quieter, more rural or suburban area rather than busy city life. He will need patient owners who enjoy training and can help him build confidence as he continues to explore new experiences. After a hard day learning and playing Del-boy loves a snuggle on the sofa with his humans.

Del-Boy could live with another dog following a successful meet at the centre, and can to live with children aged 11+ who are comfortable around large, bouncy dogs. Once settled, he can be left for 1–4 hours, though this should be built up gradually. Del-Boy would need access to a secure outdoor space where he can safely burn off energy and relax. With the right guidance, structure and a calm home environment, Del-Boy has the potential to be a fun, affectionate companion for someone ready to invest time in a young dog who’s still learning about the world.
