About This Dog

Sam Dobermann's ideal home

Sam is a sweet 1-year old Dobermann looking for an active home to keep his busy brain occupied! Sam is able to live with another dog in the home, pending a successful meet in the centre - he is very playful! If not, he would benefit from having tolerant, social doggy friends out and about! Sam is a lovely boy, who is very friendly meeting new people but can be a bit bouncy so would be best suited to a family with older primary school aged children+. Sam is a young, energetic breed so would be looking for active owners that are willing to take him on fun, sniffy adventures out and about where he can run around and burn some energy! He loves to play with toys, and will chase a good ball! Sam would be brilliant for an active or outdoorsy family that want a fun companion that they can take everywhere.
He can pull a bit on lead, but once he's had a good run around he's a lot better. He is also a foodie, intelligent boy so any training should be smooth sailing!

Could you be Sam Dobermann's perfect match?

He travels well in the car and is fully house-trained, so any adventures will be so fun! He is a big fan of a zoom around off-lead, and will need to be kept physically and mentally enriched to thrive.
Sam is a handsome lad, who is happy to be handled by anyone in any capacity. He doesn't mind visiting the vets, and is gentle with younger children - though can still be a bit bouncy at times! Sam would prefer a family to spend time with him at home while he settles in, and build his leaving hours nice and slowly.
Sam does not like cats, and will chase them so would prefer to live in an area where cats will avoid him! He is such a fun, loving and goofy lad and we can't wait to see him thriving!

Mouse

  • 1 Year Old

Mouse's ideal home Mouse is a gorgeous, sensitive boy who’s still finding his paws in the world. He hasn’t had much experience of home life yet, so he’ll need patient adopters who are happy to show him the ropes and help him build his confidence at his own pace. He can be a little worried by new things, especially noise, so a quieter home environment would suit him best.
