About This Dog

Ace's ideal home

Meet Ace, a handsome 2-year-old Doberman with a big personality and an even bigger heart! Ace can settle nicely in his kennel throughout the day but is happiest when out and about with his carers, exploring new places and enjoying plenty of fuss and attention. He is a very friendly boy who loves meeting people, although he can get a little overexcited and jump up, so he will benefit from continuing to work on his greetings and basic manners. Ace is making great progress with handling and loves his toys and playtime. He could potentially be left for short periods, but this would need to be built up gradually from scratch once he has settled into his new home.

Could you be Ace's perfect match?

Ace can sometimes feel unsure when meeting new dogs, so he would benefit from continued socialisation through walks with doggy friends. At this time, Ace cannot live with another dog, as he needs further opportunities to build his confidence and social skills. Ace could live with secondary school-aged children who are experienced with larger, lively breeds. Having previously lived with cats, he may also be able to share his home with one, provided introductions and management are handled carefully. Ace is a truly lovely lad who has so much love to give and is looking for a family who can offer him the attention, guidance and affection he deserves.
