About This Dog for Adoption

Bruno's ideal home

Bruno is a happy boy who can't wait to meet his family. While we don't know if he has ever been around children before he'll be fine to live with children of around secondary school age. Bruno has the potential to live with other dogs. He especially gets on with dogs that are on the larger side, and would benefit from a confident dog to learn from. Possible matches would be subject to a mix in centre prior to rehoming. While we have no history of Bruno around cats, he does have the potential to live with them, pending successful scent swaps. This would be in a home that can take introductions gradually, with the ability to keep them separate at first. As he did have a few worries while settling in here Bruno would really like a secure garden of his own.

Could you be Bruno's perfect match?

Bruno is a gentle chap who loves his handlers. He’s only 2 years old and had a bit of a turbulent time recently which has left him with a few worries. Give him a minute or two and some tasty treats and he’ll come round though! We don’t have full information about his home life but Bruno has remained fully housetrained while in our care. We recommend that his left alone time should be built from scratch as we don’t know if this is something he’s used to. Bruno jumps straight into a car but does drool quite a lot when travelling so would benefit from short trips at first to get him used to the movement. He’s quite underweight but loves his food so we’re sure that he’ll be a healthy weight soon. Bruno really wants to please and is a loveable lad. We think he’ll make a really amazing companion.
