Axel's ideal home

Axel can live with confident cats that are used to dogs, but not other dogs at present as he has had limited exposure to them. He is house trained but not used to spending time alone so that will need building up gradually by his adopters.

Could you be Axel's perfect match?

It's hard to know where to begin with Axel, he's a whole lotta dog and in a sizeable package! He's a lovely lad but yet to get a grasp of his size or spatial awareness, but he makes up for it in personality. Axel is instantly friendly with people and does tend to introduce himself rather rudely, and he's going to need adopters that are happy to instill some basic training in him, and also that can manage his strength. Despite his size, Axel is afraid of household noises such as the washing machine and hoover but everything else he is very interested in. He's friendly in general with other dogs but a lack of exposure to them means his social skills aren't sharp and he tends to bark in frustration. With correct introductions and a bit of work on his adopters behalf, he does have a lot of potential to be a sociable boy.
