About This Dog

Dessie's ideal home

Dessie is a striking 1-year-old Doberman who is confident and happy when meeting new people, bringing enthusiasm and affection to those he knows. He is, however, very reactive to other dogs and will need ongoing socialisation and structured training to help him feel calmer and more comfortable around them. Dessie must be the only pet in the home and can live with teenagers aged 14 and over who understand his needs. Due to his age, breed traits, and energy levels, he is looking for an experienced owner who is committed to continuing his training and providing clear, consistent guidance.

Could you be Dessie's perfect match?

Dessie is a high-energy young dog who will thrive in an active home that can offer plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and positive training. He can be left alone if this is built up gradually, but he will do best with a family who can dedicate time to his development and help him channel his energy appropriately. If you’re experienced, motivated, and ready to invest in a bright and loyal companion, Dessie has all the potential to grow into an incredibly rewarding best friend.
